Going Green    USGBC Logo

Commercial vinyl wallcovering is highly durable and provides a long life cycle. Its long-term, low maintenance performance makes it a sustainable and economical choice over other wall finishes. Wallcoverings can be recycled through the Second-Look program many times, extending their life cycle even further and diverting them from the landfill for many years. The recycling program has the added benefit of reducing energy usage in the manufacturing process. Second-Look supports LEED criteria for low-emitting materials, recycling construction waste and using post-consumer recycled content.

What is Green Wallcovering?

  • Exceptional durability and low maintenance
  • Made with salvaged material or recycled content
  • Is recyclable
  • Controls heating and cooling costs
  • Does not release pollutants in building
  • Blocks the introduction, development or spread of indoor contaminants
  • Improves light quality and visibility
  • Economical
It's simple! Green products are those that do not burden the environment, are safe and healthy for consumers and are economically priced for everyday use.
