Second-Look is the first recycled vinyl wallcovering program. The program includes two components: 1) New recycled wallcovering collections with a total of 20% recycled content and a minimum of 10% post-consumer recycled material. 2) A retrieval program that reclaims previously used vinyl wallcovering of any make and recycles it into new Second-Look designs. Designers and facility mangers who are specifying Second-Look recycled wallcovering have the option of participating in the Second-Look retrieval program.
Second-Look is available in the Cirqa recycled collection, which consists of 48 colorways that span the fashion gamut from classic to contemporary. It comes in Type II, 20-ounce commercial vinyl wallcovering measuring 52"/54" wide. The low-VOC wallcovering uses water-based inks that incorporates a mildew-inhibiting agent that helps prevent fungal and other microbiological growth, and can be installed with a water-based adhesives. Second-Look is available with Permavent™, a unique microventing technology that literally allows the wallcovering to breathe and manage the mobile moisture in walls.
