Participating in the Second-Look Retrieval Program is Easy!
For the first time in the industry, Second-Look allows you to send used vinyl wallcovering and any overage amounts from your renovation project to LSI to be recycled into new commercial wallcovering. By supporting the Second-Look Retrieval Program, you not only help divert waste from the landfill, but provide LSI the potential to produce future recycled wallcovering with a higher percentage of post-consumer recycled content.
Getting started is easy. A sample of the wallcovering must be submitted to LSI upon application to the program. The Second-Look program accepts vinyl wallcovering made by any manufacturer, but screens all samples to ensure each meet environmental quality standards. Materials and instructions for packing and shipping the wallcovering will be provided.
The 5 easy steps to being a part of the Second-Look Retrieval Program:
- Get application form from distributor
- Submit application along with an 8" x 10" sample of wallcovering being submitted
- Wait for approval from LSI (36-72 hours)
- After approval, instructions will be sent to the job site
- Receive a confirmation letter from manufacturer verifying weight and reuse of the material
